45 label time is 3:47, LP run time is 4:36.
Anybody happen to know what the edit(s)/differences are?

Have located the 45 version on an import CD: Idol Songs: 11 of the Best.

Was there a 12 inch version? My memories of this song was
that it differed from Idol Songs CD (used to own
it).

The 12 inch version for "Flesh For Fantasy" runs seven minutes and appears on the Vital Idol CD (along with the 12" versions of "White Wedding" and "To Be A Lover").

OK, now I'm really confused! LOL The
"official video" I found on YooToob (runs about 4:19) seems
like what I've been seeking, but is that on any of the
myriad B.I. CD's out there?

Fantasy" video from EMI Music

The 12" version is virtually a dub, with very little of the actual vocal verse/chorus structure in place.
If the video version runs 4:19, it must be a slight edit of the album version, no?

Actually, I just watched the video, and it's really a different edit of the song. It opens with all the guitar lick obsession from the 12" version and then jumps into the first verse of the song (leaving out the mellow instrumental intro from the album version). Then at the end of the video, it cuts out a huge chunk of the minute-long chill out part that eventually fades on the album version.
