My commercial 45, confirmed as United Artists 658, has a listed time of (3:22), but an actual time of (2:43). The only two current database CDs that feature this song have run times of (3:26) and (3:27), so further investigation will be needed, to determine if the 45 includes an edit/s, or is just an early fade.

The 45 is an edit of the (3:26) CD version. The line at about (2:31) on the 45, "I don't want you to cry no more, darling" doesn't appear until much later on the CD version. What I haven't been able to determine yet is whether the "Baby, baby, don't you weep" line that preceeds it is the same on both versions (that is, whether the edit occurs before or after this line).

Has anyone seen the 45 edit of "Baby Don't You Weep" on CD? I don't think it has ever been released. It's always the longer LP version that gets included.
Surprised that Bill Buster hasn't released it on CD. It was top 30 pop hit (on the Hot 100) and peaked at #11 on Cash Box's R&B singles chart (back when Billboard had no R&B chart).
