Another amazing discovery by Edtop40, he noticed that the 45 for "Just Like Heaven" by the Cure had a different run time than the album version.
After listening to an mp3 he sent to me, it can be concluded that the 45 version is an edit of the remix found on Galore. The version on this CD is remixed by Bob Clearmountain; however, it runs the same length as the LP version. For the 45, they removed one section of music from 1:23:32 to 1:36:08.

The remix on Galore is the version that was on the US vinyl 12". I'm so glad they didn't use the 45 edit of the remix instead, because I was so psyched to find the 12" version on CD. This remix--the version I've always heard on the radio-- brings out the synth line, which is virtually lost in the album mix.

Has anyone yet tried to edit the 12" version of "Just Like Heaven" to match the 45? If so, were you successful?
