While the Reckless LP version was also on the US 45, I remember seeing the "live" version on the video when the song was a hit. I'm not even sure if there was a video for the studio version.
I recently came across a rare Tina Turner import CD called Private Dance Mixes. It's a 6-track disc that contains all of the 12" mixes from Private Dancer, and the last track is the "live" version of "It's Only Love." Interestingly, the version on this disc has a cold ending with just reverb; the applause never comes back in like on other versions I've heard. For instance, on Tina's VH1 promo CD Play This In Store, "It's Only Love" is in its "live" version, but there is applause at the end.
I've seen a promo 12" with a "live" version on the b-side, and it has a printed time of (4:08); however, both my Tina Turner CDs have run times just over 3 and 1/2 minutes.
