My U.S. commercial 45 of Fats Domino's "I'm in Love Again" runs about 1:52, give or take a second. (I'm always hesitant to mention run times on this board since its members have come to expect more accurate timings than I'm able to provide.) The recording was substantially sped up when released in 1956. Many CDs feature the song at its original recording speed.

Good info, Paul. There are a handful of Fats Domino hits documented in the database that run at a different speed on CD than the 45, so given his vast Top 40 catalog I suspect there are other speed differences that will be uncovered as we more closely analyze hits from the '50s and '60s.

The label of the B-side of this two-sided hit, 'My Blue Heaven', states a run time of (2:10), but I timed it at (2:04).
