My good friend Todd e-mailed me with three Animals 45 timing requests. And until I can dig out my buried 1966 45 boxes and get to "It's My Life" for him, I was able to get to his other two, 1965 requests: "Boom Boom" (MGM 13298) is a listed (2:57), actual (2:58) time (FYI, it runs (3:00) on the "Best Of" and (3:17) on the "Retrospective" ABKCO CDs). And "Bring It On Home To Me" (MGM 13339) is a listed (2:40), actual (2:41) timing. But this time, "Retrospective" is the CD place to go, with a run time of (2:41), while the version on the "Best Of" CD runs too short, at just (2:34).

In order to save Jim some digging...our commercial copy of "It's My Life" by The Animals (MGM 13414) states and actually runs (3:09).

Thanks, Jim and Paul, for passing along the commercial run time info!
Just to make sure all bases are covered, does anyone have the vinyl LP times (if applicable) for any of the aforementioned Animals hits?

I can't thank you enough for that, Paul. Depending on what I'm working on at the moment, some year or other is always at the very bottom of a huge stack of boxes, and lifting for me is very difficult. And, to do my small part for the "Whitburn/Haney Retirement Fund", I got my "pre-release order" placed just in the nick of time last week, for RR's latest "Billboard Top Pop Singles Book." Paul, you've helped us an awful lot on this Board, despite being quite busy over at Mr. Whitburn's, and I for one believe in doing my part to continue to support RR as well. You have helped my music research immensely over the years!!!
