My commercial 45 (B.T. Puppy 530) has a listed time of (2:45) and an actual time of (2:46). I post this info because it appears that additional research will need to be done in this case. I say that because the run times of the only two current database CDs that include this song (both stereo) are at least :10 longer than my 45 is, at (2:56) and (2:59).

after about 2 hours on this one, i'm done for today.....my
commercial 45 issued as bt puppy 530 states the run time on
the label as 2:45 and does indeed run that length......the
cd version from greatest golden hits is very slow and needs
to be sped up....the cd version has 76.09 bpm; the 45 has
78bpm's....in addition you'll need to fade for 0:09 from
2:36 to 2:45 of the sped up version to replicate the vinyl
45.....

Thanks for uncovering and explaining the details regarding the 45 length for The Happenings' "My Mammy", Jim and Ed.
Does anyone have a copy of the group's Psycle vinyl LP from 1967 who can pass along the song's run time on it? "My Mammy" does run 2:56 on the CD reissue of this album on Collectables 7499 (which is bundled as a 2-fer with the group's self-titled album), but as we know this isn't always indicative of a song's actual length on the original vinyl LP release.
