Will this set be added to the database? Early reports are that mono 45 masters were used for the collection where appropriate.

What's nice is that iTunes also has the collection for sale. Almost every track is listed as the mono single version.

I just bought "Green River" on iTunes and YES, it does end cold.

REALLY? I just bought the CD and it does NOT end cold. Well, it ends cold at the end of a long fadeout, but it's only audible that it's a cold ending if you turn your speaks waaaay up. Is that what you mean?

It's ends cold at the tail end of the fade. Is that the way it appeared on the 45?

Correct. While the ending fades on both the 45 and the LP, the 45 fades longer, revealing, if you crank up the level a lot, the cold ending. But it's very low.
