There are currently two database CDs containing Daniel Bedingfield's "If You're Not the One", but have run times of 4:15 and 4:02, respectively, and there are no comments explaining the timing differences. I have the commercial CD single release from 2003 with the following track listings and run time info:
1) Radio Edit - 4:02 (printed time: 4:03)
2) Metro Edit - 3:51 (printed time: 3:54)
Thus it appears Track 1 matches the Now 13 CD which also runs 4:02. I don't yet have the song's parent CD Gotta Get Thru This where the song runs 4:15, so I can't confirm if the CD single is an edit or an early fade.
I should point out that the Radio Edit got all of the radio airplay in my area and don't remember once hearing the Metro Edit, so I don't know if the latter version is even worthy of database inclusion. (It's possible this version did appear on a promo CD single release though.) I'll leave that up to Pat to decide.

Todd, my commercial CD single includes the same two versions that you show above (with an "Album Snippets Medley" tacked on as Cut 3). FYI, the label did send a copy of the commercial CD single to us at the station, so to me that indicates that the label did want us to at least have the "Metro Edit" on hand, as a possible airplay option. I also have both an official promo CD single (ISLR 15801-2) and an official, non-numbered CD-R for the song. And besides the "official" promo including two research hooks (as cuts 2 & 3), the two discs are identical: One track, the "Radio Edit". Both these discs describe the song's length as "3:50/fades", but the actual time for the track is (4:03).

Many thanks, Jim, for helping answer many of my recent promo CD single inquiries!
So if the Metro Edit of "If You're Not the One" was issued on both the promo and commercial CD single, then there's a better than average chance it got at least some airplay.

Todd, I wasn't 100% clear earlier. Only the "Radio Edit" appears on my promo CD singles. But our station also did receive in the "Metro Edit", via a UPC-code-obscured commercial CD single that they sent to us when it was a current. To my knowledge, the "Metro Edit" does not appear on an actual promo CD single.
