my commercial cassingle of the lisa fischer song "how can i ease the pain" issued as elektra 64897 does not state a version on either the sleeve or cassette but does list a run time of 4:17 and does indeed run that length....i don't know if it's an edit or fade but i found the proper version on the promo cd single.....

There are two Japanese words "gomen nasai" and "aishite imasu" on the album version's intro. The Japanese word "gomen nasai" means "Sorry" in English, and "aishite imasu" means "I love you" in English. I know that the single version doesn't have the Japanese words. I don't have the cassingle and the promo CD. But I've got this knowledge from a music magazine in Japanese.

Here is my rather straightforward promo CD single info:

1-(non-described version) (listed 4:18; actual 4:17)
