The database currently says "radio version" next to two of the database entries that run 3:37 for "Heaven." Although I don't own a promo CD, my commercial maxi CD contains the "Radio Version" as the lead track. It has a printed time of 3:55 and an actual time of 3:51. Was there another radio version that runs 3:37 or was this info taken from the CD jacket?
Also, our station played the "Candlelight Mix" during the later part of the song's chart run. This mix is included on the album but is not noted in the database. It's actually not a different mix but a completely different take. I'm pretty sure this version had widespread airplay, so it's probably worth noting.

You are correct. Radio & Records even charted the Candlelight Mix
separately from the dance version, so it ended up hitting AT40 in two
distinct versions.

My notation of "radio version" comes from the Razor & Tie cd "Electrifed" which identifies the (3:37) version as the "radio version" so there seems to be conflicting evidence here as to what is really the "radio version".

Is Electrified a continuous mix disc? If so, that would explain the shorter length.

No it is not a continuous mix cd and is an obvious edit of the full length version.

First off, we received into the station the same, 6-track commercial CD
single that Aaron mentions in this thread's opening post, but with a hole
punched through the UPC symbol (pretty standard when a label sent
us a stock copy.) Here are its full contents:
-DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do--"Heaven" (76869-72057-2)
1-Radio Version (listed 3:55; actual 3:51)
2-Extended Mix (listed & actual 5:15)
3-Green Court Remix (listed & actual 6:19)
4-Commander Tom Remix (listed 6:35; actual 6:34)
5-Anastasia Remix (listed & actual 10:50)
6-Simon & Shaker Remix (listed & actual 9:00)
The only promo CD single I own featuring the song's original mix is an
officially pressed Robbins CD-R. Here are its details:
-DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do--"Heaven" (REDJ 72057-2)
1-Radio Edit (listed 3:55; actual 3:52)
2-Extended Mix (listed 5:17; actual 5:15)
Finally, here is my promo CD info for the "Candlelight Mix":
-DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do (REDJ-72072-2)
1-Heaven (Candlelight Mix) (listed 4:00; actual 4:01)
Pat, these details do not offer any new evidence that the (3:37) length
version found on your "Electrified" CD was ever an officially released 2002
version.

So asking anyone that remembers, I heard both the Candlelight Mix (slow) and the Radio Mix (fast) back on the radio. Would both be considered the hit version?

FWIW, Radio & Records charted the Radio Mix at #4
and the Candlelight Mix peaked at #34 some months later.
That corresponds to my memory of what the local Top 40
station actually played at the time.
