Just today, I obtained the promo CD single, and here are the details:
PRCD 7147-2
1. One Dread One Ball Head Version Clean (listed 4:21; actual 4:28)
2. Mr. Sex L.B. Fam Version Clean (listed 4:21; actual 4:16)
3. Mr. Sex L.B. Fam Version Instrumental (listed 4:56; actual 4:52)
So, to answer Ed's question, the promo does contain a shorter version. Track 1 on the promo CD is an early fade of track 1 on the commercial CD.

Ed's comments regarding the commercial CD single also
apply to the cassette single.
It took a bit of effort, but I believe I have finally
sorted this one out. The database currently lists this
song as appearing on three albums, the clean and explicit
versions of the Don't Be A Menace soundtrack and
the compilation, Unstoppable 90s Hip Hop. Because
the song's run time on Unstoppable 90s Hip Hop
(the only CD on which I had the song) is 4:50, I had
always assumed it was the 'One Dread One Ball Head
Version'. I assumed wrong.
The first album on which this song appeared was the
Don't Be A Menace soundtrack in January 1996. This
is the version that on the single is called the 'One
Dread One Ball Head Version' but runs (4:59). The
commercial single is simply an earlier fade of the clean
soundtrack LP version. The song would also appear on The
Lost Boyz' debut album, Legal Drug Money, issued
in June 1996 and not currently listed in the database.
The version on this album is what is described on the
single as the 'Mr. Sex L.B. Fam Version', but it runs
4:53. This version also appears on Unstoppable 90s Hip
Hop. The second track on the single is an early fade.
(The version on Unstoppable 90s Hip Hop
is explicit. I don't know if a clean version of the
Legal Drug Money album was issued.)

I don't believe there is a clean full-length CD of Legal Drug Money.
