Though not in the database, Doobie Brothers' "Sweet Maxine" did reach #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. I thought I'd point out to fellow completists that there appears to be a 45 version and LP version of this song. Though I don't have vinyl copies of either, both versions of "Sweet Maxine" are on the recent Doobie Brothers 2-CD UK import reissue of their Stampede/Takin' It to the Streets albums on Edsel 2106. On it, the 45 version runs 3:42, while the LP version runs 4:22.

the 45 CAN be edited from the lp version....do you need a
copy for your review, todd?
