below is my findings of winger's 3 top 40 songs
"seventeen"....the 45 version is identical to the 1989 self titled version except that the cd/lp version runs 4:04 and tracks into the next selection while the 45 fades out to 4:02
"headed for a heartbreak"........here is another example of when the 2 singles formats diverge........the cassingle issued as atlantic 88922-4 conatins the full cd/lp version running 5:12 in length from the 1989 self titled cd/lp while the 45 issued at the same time as atlantic 88922-7 contains a fade version of the cd/lp version faded out to 3:59......another example of which do we use as the official run time..........
"miles away".........the cassingle version is identical to the version from "Glam Rock Vol 2" and runs 4:10

Looks like the vinyl 45 version is on the various artist CD 1990 - #1 Radio Hits - 1994 (JCI 3197).

Thanks to Aaron, I can confirm the radio edit is indeed both an edit and a slightly early (basically just truncated) fade.
From the CD / LP version:
Cut out 2:02 to 2:12.
From that, cut out 2:09 to 2:14.
From that, cut out 2:49 to 2:59.
From that, fade to silence by 3:35.
