The new Hard To Find 45s On CD Vol. 13 is out and the cd jacket states that Little Arrows by Leapy Lee is an "album version". Can anyone point out the differences between the 45 and LP version of this song other than the obvious length difference?

Hi Pat,
I guess i should chime in here! :-)
The main difference is the length. The mono 45 version
runs about 15 secs longer at the end.
That's pretty much it other than the obvious stereo vs.
mono mix. There are no overdubs or anything like that.
And, FWIW, as many on the BSN board wanted to know; why
the stereo LP version was chosen? As i understand it,
Bill B. simply had a lot of requests for it piled up, so
it was a late addition to this set just to fill those
requests.
Hope that helps
MM

a shame, as the stereo was out on 3 (U.S.) CDs already, but the mono single,
only one. Looking forward to hearing if it sounds better than my stereo
version (from "Bubblegum Classics").
