Since this was the song I just wrongly pulled out for chendagam, I did a
search for this track. Nothing came up. So while I do happen to have this
promo CD single out, I thought I might as well share its details:

-Information Society--"Walking Away" (PRO-CD-3253)

1-Radio Version (listed 3:58; actual 3:59)
2-LP Version (listed 5:01; actual 5:02)
3-Space Age Mix (listed 6:36; actual 6:37)
4-S.M.D. Mix (listed 7:08; actual 7:10)

This was excellent information from Jim, as was always the case.

I wish he was here so I could ask (and I ask now in the hopes one of you will be able to answer) if the "Radio Version" he mentions as track one of the promo CD is the same as the "Shep Pettibone Radio Version" in this video.

It sounds like what I remember hearing on the radio; what say you?

Yes, the video link and track 1 on the promo cd are the
same. Interestingly, the New York radio station I
worked at in 1988 would cut off the "It is useless to
resist us" intro and start the song at :02
