my commercial 45 for the ray charles song 'don't change on
me' issued as abc/trc 11291 lists a run time on the label
as 3:22 but actually runs 3:00......the so called 45
version on the cd 'his greatest hits vol 1' issued as dcc
036, isn't the 45 version.....the 45 starts with a piano
tinkle under the intro which the dcc cd doesn't
have.....pat, when time permits, could you check the other
2 so called 45 versions have the piano tinkle during the
intro or not.....it looks like this entry needs further
analysis....

Ed,
The 3:27 on the Genius set, the only place to find it in mono, does not match the 3:00 you have of your 45 that you gave me. While your file Ed is not lossless, can anyone pull their 45 and check? Thanks.

I bumped up the thread on "Singular Genius" for
PopArchivist, as there's some discussion regarding this
song on the box set vs. the 45.
