Attn: Pat. The following CD is shown among the listings in the on-line database for "Big Log" by Robert Plant:
(S) (5:02) Compass Productions 973070100 1980's Classic Rock
However, clicking on the album title above to view its contents instead yields a V/A CD titled Summertime (w/ the same record label & catalog no.), so something needs fixing here...

Doesn't the radio version fade after the second verse? Around 3:40 let's say?

The short version of my promo has a listed time of 3:45, and
to a quick listen does sound like an early fade.

Believe it or not Compass Productions issued 2 completely different cd's with the exact same UPC, one titled Summertime and one titled 1980's Classic Rock. Even the 12 digit UPC is the same! This is not the first time Compass Productions has made this mistake.

Can anyone confirm the full length of the radio edit? I know the database says 3:45 but it was mentioned above it was listed as 3:45 on the label... and we know labels are notorious for being wrong.
One video I found online (an edit of the full-length video) ended about 3:50, and in making my own edit I could see it fading out to silence by 4:05 without getting into the removed verse.
Could anybody give me confirmation on the DJ single length, and/or an idea where in the musical phrasing the single goes to silence? For example, there is a guitar vamp that leads into every verse; is it included in the fade or already gone to silence before those vamps start?
Thanks for your help! What a great song.

The radio edit indeed times out to just a hair short of
(3:45). It fades during the guitar part.

The fade starts at 3:30.9 and ends 3:44.3.
