I have the song on a TM Studios Prime Cuts disc that
runs 3:54. It's not labeled as a radio edit but it might
be.
I've seen some discussion on Mobile DJ forums that
mention there is a version where he sings "hot air" in
stead of "hot damn" during the song.
Anyone know of this version, if it exists?

The 3:55 radio edit was also issued by New Music Server, and it does contain "hot damn." I haven't yet heard a cleaner version.

If it does, it sounds like something Radio Disney would play.

They aren't showing it on their top 30 countdown, so I doubt they're playing it.

You're correct. 0 plays on Radio Disney.
There are some super clean edits on YouTube though. But I didn't hear any "hot air" versions.

How many Radio Disney affiliates are left? I thought
they had sold them off.

I thought they were just unloading the AM outlets and maintaining an online presence?

Today Promo Only, via their POOL system, released their own clean
edits of Uptown Funk. They, as close as they could, seemlessly
replaced hot damn with an instrumental section of the song.

Pat, you may want to update the song notes for "Uptown Funk" to let your subscribers know that a 3:55 edit was serviced digitally to radio stations. I'm not aware if a physical promo CD was sent out or not.

I have never considered TM Studios Prime Cuts or New Music Server to be an official record company release.

The same edit serviced by TM Studios and New Music Server was also
serviced digitally to radio. New Music Server gets their files directly
from the record labels and posts them on a server for programmers to
download. It's no different than iTunes; it's just for radio programmers
only.
