Since there are no database details for "Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)" by Pras featuring Ol' Dirty Bastard & introducing Mya, I thought I would share what I have.
INT5P-6327
1. Main Version (listed & actual 4:26)
2. Instrumental (listed & actual 4:26)
This is the same version that appears on all CDs listed in the database, although the fadeout on the promo runs a few seconds longer than most CDs.
There was another promo CD released to some radio stations, and it's rather comical that they even created such a version. From an official Interscope CD-R promo is a "No Rap Edit" running 3:13. The main artist, Pras Michael, does not appear anywhere on this version. In fact, neither his name nor any of the other performers' names are mentioned anywhere on the disc. It simply has the song title and version. This edit was created by splicing together bits of the instrumental to remove any rap vocals. What's left is simply the chorus, sung by Mya, and a few ad libs by Ol' Dirty Bastard. I can't imagine that any stations would've aired this version, but I've been surprised before.
