the db lists the actual run time of the freddie jackson
song 'you are my lady' as 4:15 but i just timed my
commercial 45 issued as capitol 5495 and it runs 4:20; can
anyone else time their commercial 45 to confirm my
findings....

Ed my vinyl record is a dj copy that states (4:07) but runs (4:16). This is Capitol 5495 with matrix number S-45-B-5495-99755-A Z4.

I timed my US commercial 45 at (4:20) just as Ed's copy. So it looks like the commercial and dj 45s are not identical.

Is the DJ 45 an earlier fade than the commercial 45?

I just obtained a commercial copy of "You Are My Lady" with matrix number S-45-B-5495-99755-AZ32 and just like my dj copy it runs (4:16) so there must be 2 different pressings of this 45. Can anyone who has a copy running (4:20) please pass along the matrix number?

run-out groove 'S-45-B-5495-99755-A Z-1' and it runs 4:20
