Anyone know if the "short version" 3:50 of this track is
an early fade? I know the album version has a trailing
end note. Thanks!

It's not a fade. Both versions that I've heard end cold.
Don't remember the edit(s), though.

Thanks and arrgghhhh! You go to Youtube to find an
example of the edit and there are 5,000 posts (give or
take) of the regular version, but not one of the edit!

I created the DJ edit several years ago but don't
remember the edits either. I used a promo 45 as a guide.

Sometimes fun to look at older threads and see what is
going on.
My copy of the Spooky 45 runs 3:49 and ends cold but
then fades out quickly on the last guitar note.
So it could be considered an cold fade on last guitar
note.
Lucked out having all the 45 versions from ARS over the
years.

I thought I'd share this from my notes, if it'll help. I did an edit and I'm showing edit points of 3:31.57 - 4:41.20, and that I slowed it down -.40. It also timed out at 3:45. Unfortunately, I'm not showing where I got this info, as I do not have a copy of the promo, Sorry I can't be more specific but I hope this helps someone.
