Pat,
Just FYI any stereo appearance of this song is an
alternate take. Only the mono can be the hit single.

The 2 takes are fairly close but you can pick out small
things. Like in the mono intro he sings "night" with a
loud "T" at the end, but in the stereo he doesn't do that.
Also in the mono from 1:13-1:15 he sings the word "BE"
drawn out with 4 notes. But in the stereo he sings the
word with only 2 notes.
