Remixed from the original 16 track masters this album finally has a great technical sound to match the greatness of the music. It's
like a layer of haze and distortion has been removed. Of course you can never get a remix from 16 tracks to be exact to the original,
but it's pretty close. The only song on it that doesn't quite match the sound of the original mix is 25 or 6 to 4. It's as if the
guitar intro on the 16 track (and used on the remix) is different that what ended up on the original album and single. On the remix,
you can hear finger noises on the guitar strings between the notes on the song intro. You don't hear that on the original mix. No
bonus tracks (Rhino had put single edits at the end of the album) It's just the original album, but it sounds great.

Something else that's different. On "Make Me Smile" at 2:12, on the words "Touch the Sky" it's a different vocal take for that
line on this new remix.

Bill I think you have entered a typo as the words "Touch The Sky" appear near (2:12) not (3:12) on Make Me Smile.

By any chance does this include the "long" version of "Make
Me Smile" or just the single for a bonus track? I remember
hearing it quite a bit on the air back in the 70s...as I
recall, it was MMS with the long album intro with the long
ending but the rest of the "Ballet for a Girl in Buchanan"
edited out.

I corrected the typo above. Also, there are no bonus tracks on this issue of Chicago II.
