Just got done entering the 2018 Grammy Nominees cd contents in the database and came across a (3:55) version of Pink's "What About Us" which is much shorter than any previously entered timing so was there a dj edit or 45 version of this song released?

Pat, my CHR station got serviced with a 3:54 timed unnamed version of What About Us in mid-August 2017. The release of the album Beautiful Trauma was in October 2017 which according to Wikipedia the CD version is 4:29. I am wondering if the 3:54 cut should be called the single version or radio edit.

Promotional CDR's of a 3:55 "Radio Edit" have been floating around eBay/etc. since last summer, but the 2018 Grammy album is the first time I've seen it on a commercial release.
The digital release of 2018 Grammy Nominees on amazon does indeed title this version "What About Us (Radio Edit)".

Discogs calls the 3:55 version of What About Us the "Radio Edit"
A few other notes on the 2018 Grammy disk:
Redbone by Childish Gambino is the radio edit. This version is much
shorter than the album version. Same edit is on Now 64.
Issues by Julia Michaels is censored and is the same censored version
that appears on Now 62. There was no censored version of the album
so I don't know exactly where this one comes from.
1-800-273-8255 by Logic is censored and appears to be the same
version as on the censored version of the album "Everybody." Also the
same censored version that is on Now 64.

I was not aware that there is a censored version of the CD "Everybody". The only version I can find for sale is the one listed in the database, Def Jam B0026670. If anyone can come up with the catalog number of a censored version please pass it along.

Sorry for the
confusion. I'm pretty sure the censored version of "Everybody" is digital only.
It's available on iTunes, etc., but I don't believe it had a physical release. Sorry
about that.

It may well come from TM Century's HitDisc. The word "s**t" is censored there - though I can't say if Michaels' label submitted a version that way, knowing it wouldn't air on FM radio with the swear word. (It's possible TM Century made the edit).

Then my guess is that Republic Records supplied the same clean version to TM Century for HitDiscs, and this same version was used for the Now series.
