Some of those DES tracks are really convincing sounding!
The technology certainly has improved in the past few
years.

Very true Brian. If the label did not identify the tracks as DES creations you would swear they were true stereo recordings. It takes these sound engineers up to forty hours per track to create these stereo versions free of artifacts. There are several different software programs available now that have helped reduce the time necessary to reach the same excellent results.
