Is the 3:13 dj edit an early fade of the 45/LP version or does anyone know if it involves editing?

There was a previous thread that talked about the DJ edit
which I bumped. To make the true DJ 45 edit, you need a
small portion of the actual DJ 45 to make it a smooth
edit.

Aye! I searched and it didn't come up. Thanks for bringing the other thread to my attention, John.
Did you make the edit yourself?

I had to use a small section of the promo 45 to make a
smooth edit.
