I noticed that the Cassette Single of this song lists the version included as just "Edit", but the Promo 45 and Promo CD Single
have a version called, "7" Inch Radio Edit". (Apparently there was no commercial 45 in the US for it, just a Cassette Single and
Vinyl 12" Single). Does anyone have the Cassette Single and can confirm if this version labelled "Edit" is the same as the "7"
Radio Edit"?

A very long time ago, I created an edit for Ed, and I'm 99% sure I matched it to a dub of his cassette single. The edit I made runs 4:19, which matches the printed time of the promo CD single's 7" Radio Edit. I believe they are the same.

Aaron, yesterday I was looking at an old thread started by edtop40 about this song. I searched for it now, but can't find it to bump it up. He
mentioned in the thread that the version on the Cassette Single and the one on the promo CD weren't the same, and that the Cassette Single
version is an edit of the Album Version. The 7" Radio Edit from the promo is on YouTube.

Might the thread you mentioned be this one: http://www.top40musiconcd.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6010 &KW=cover+skips

Or maybe this one: http://www.top40musiconcd.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5170 &KW=cover+girls

Yes, it was the second one. Thanks! I don't know why it wouldn't come up when I looked for it.

I stand corrected. It had been a long time since I listened to each version, but yes, the cassette single version is not the same as the 7" Radio Edit, despite the close run times.
