Probably only in the weekend "Party Mix" sets. i.e. in mix rotation and not as a standalone song.
I'm sure it was in the Hot Mix radio show that was tossed about in the U.S. too.
I think the last thing I remember from that time was Cher's "Believe." That got played everywhere, and in the mix as well.

I never heard it on the radio... the first time I heard it was a the Cinedrome 360 nightclub at Foxwoods Casino in
Connecticut; they played and mixed music videos exclusively. Great song.
