Is this newly christened #1 a foreign hit? I have an English version but have yet to catch it even on the radio. Was wondering about that. Anyone know which version is getting played.

This song by Jimin (a member of BTS) is not being
promoted to radio and has received almost no airplay. The
week that it debuted at #1 (April 8), Billboard reported
that it had received 64,000 audience impressions, an
astonishingly low number for a #1 song. Four radio
stations had played the song, and since the total
audience impressions was only 64,000, I gather that each
played it only once or twice.
The song reached #1 primarily because of the 254,000
digital downloads and CD singles sold. There are five
different versions/mixes available digitally, each
initially priced at only 69 cents, although the price has
since been raised to $1.29. I assume that many rabid BTS
fans purchased all five. A CD single is also available at
the BTS website for only $1.99. I believe (but am not
100% sure) that the CD single contains only the Korean
version.
The following week the song fell to #45. I believe it is
the first #1 song to spend only one week in the Top 40.
A sign that the discounted download price had a major
impact in the song reaching #1 is that here in Canada,
where the download price was not discounted, the song
only reached #21. (The CD single is 'Available for US
customers only').
