I suspect there will come a day in the not-too-distant future when record labels will stop pressing promo CD singles for radio stations altogether and will begin servicing tracks exclusively via digital download. I have a promo CD which has two tracks, claims 3:56 (radio edit) but runs 3:58, and album version (4:21)

I don't know for sure, Pat. I bought the original single (no longer being offered) on iTunes, but it ran 4:21 (same as the album version).
