Here are instruction for creating the 45 edit from the LP version. I started with the version on Rock On 1989 (Cema Special Markets S21-18695 ROK-2-1989, 1996), and times are based on that version.

Keep 0:00.0-0:02.5 of the LP version.
Edit on snare.
Keep 0:04.6-2:21.1 of the LP version.
Edit on snare.
Keep 2:26.2-4:19.2 of the LP version.
Put a 32-beat fade from 4:02.6-4:19.2 of LP version; fade starts at 3:56 after the edits are made.

Note that the LP runs 0.4% faster than the true 45. The 45 runs 114.8 BPM (at beginning) to 114.7 BPM (at end) while the LP version runs 115.2 BPM throughout.
