Not having access to the one CD with the 45 edit, I used a YouTube video as my guide to chop up the album version of Shalamar's 1983 hit, "Dead Giveaway."

There are two edits:

1:55 - 2:33 = 38.725 sec in length

(after the 1st cut is made)
3:14 - 3:53 = 38.73 sec in length

That resulted in a 3:44 length file when let run to absolute silence on that last note's echo... which nearly matches the 45 length in the database.

The mix sounds identical, to my ears.
