I did get to <br />listen to a vinyl dub of the 45 provided by Chuck.  I compared it to <br />my copy on GoldDisc.  They stay in sync for most part. I still don't <br />detect any vinyl from my copy.  My ears could be fooling me, or the <br />splicing may have been dead on. ]]>

In other words, the first <br />:33 seconds of the LP version are removed and replaced <br />with the 9 second intro unique to the 45.]]>

I <br />ended up using the intro from a needle drop of the 45 and <br />splicing that into the correct point of the track from The <br />Broadway Album CD to get the true 45 version (mostly) from <br />a CD source.]]>

Earliest memories of this cut being in heavy <br />rotation on my local AC station from the early to mid 90's.<br /><br />I have a version on TM Century GoldDisc which I'm assuming is the 45 version. Can the <br />LP be edited down to the 45 version?  ]]>
