The version used on Hot Hits Pop/TM Century/Promo Only has the same cold fade at the end but it sounds like a synth note (best way I can describe it) is placed over the cold fade in error. I never remembered hearing this anomaly on air in 1997/98.

    Author: aaronk
Subject: 7559
Posted: 16 July 2013 at 8:49am

My promo CD single for "Love You Down" by INOJ (CSK 2930) contains:

1. Album Version (printed & actual 4:19)
2. Instrumental (printed & actual 4:19)

My commercial CD single (44K 78802) contains:

1. LP Version (printed 4:18; actual 4:19)
2. Mixologist Mix (printed & actual 5:52)
3. Jonis Mix (printed & actual 4:30)
tracks 4 & 5 are "Freak It" by Lathun

What's interesting is that the "Album Version" and "LP Version" are not exactly the same. The promo single has a unique first note, which is probably in error. On this version, the higher-pitched keyboard that sounds sort of like bells comes in about a half second late. It's as if the producer forgot to turn on the fader/channel.
