Back in 2011 you posted, ""Sing" has an extra few bars on
the 45 that were edited out of the album version."
So you indicate it was on one of the albums. Since it
appears on The Singles LP and those songs were run
together, in a medley form, maybe that is the short

Many years ago, I had an edit of Carpenters "Sing". I no
longer have it, but I remember there being quite a bit of
discussion about it either here or on the BSB forum.

This edit cut out about eight bars near the end where Karen
sings "Just sing...sing a song" and the children sing "Sing
a song!". This is repeated twice on the single, but only
once on this edit.
