I was music director of a small-market CHR thru much of the 90s, and we were VERY cautious about anything too "urban sounding". In several cases, we made our own rapless edits of songs that either didn't come with one or we were unable to get serviced with. We'd often play the unedited version at night when it was mostly teens listening.]]>

The "7" Edit" does in fact have the rap in it. It appeared commercially on an import CD. The difference is that the intro is a bit longer and it has a cold ending with the "slamming doors" sound effect. On the version on my cassette single, the intro is shorter with a fade out. Actual run times are 3:43 on the 7" edit and 3:49 on the cassette. Does anyone have more infomation on this?]]>
