I had no idea a version with the ABC sample existed
before reading this thread. I checked my copy of the

My only commercial single is the CD single, which does not even contain the "Radio Edit." I would like to revisit this topic again as I have now obtained both the commercial vinyl 45 (Columbia 38-74197) and the cassette single (39T-74197) and both state "radio edit" and neither one contains the ABC sample from "Playground". I checked my copy. It doesn't have the record scratch at the beginning.
