As I was going through some Hitmakers CDs, I came across a Top 40 Edit of "Please Don't Go" with a run time of 3:35. Presumably, this matches the RE-1 promo CD single.

The Top 40 Edit on this disc has obvious noise reduction (sounds like improperly applied Dolby NR). It runs 2.2% faster than the 4:15 version. There is a segment in the intro that I presume is from the full/long version, as it is not found in the 4:15 edit.

So is there a difference between this CD single you can't find and the one that is commonly available for the song?
