Was there a promo <br />version that didn't have the word?  (Guessing its #36 chart peak at <em>Billboard</em> in 1975 might be related <br />to top-40 radio not wanting to play it unless the word was excised, although part of it is also that the 45 was <br />a really badly executed edit--the whole instrumental intro kinda makes the song &#091;and makes a perfect deejay <br />talk-up&#093;, and they got rid of the whole thing.)]]>

The Further From The Edge edit is less guitars and less "yelling".  It surprised me that the Closer to The Edge was shorter than the Further From The Edge as the less edgier would be more appealing to CHR/Pop.  But maybe that's why they came up with mixes just for CHR.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Gary</span>]]>

On the &#091;Pop Radio Edit No Orchestra Intro&#093; the vocals start out cold with instruments beginning around :01.  I did not notice any difference besides the opening section that the &#091;Pop mix&#093; is any different from the &#091;Pop Radio Edit No Orchestra Intro&#093;.]]>
