I was listening to this song in my airpods today and
couldn't help but notice how muddy sounding this song is
whether it be the LP version or the short radio edit. Was

I just picked up the Who's Zoomin' Who Expanded Edition and like Indy500, I am wondering where this "radio version" comes from. It definitely is a remix of some sort and nothing like the version that was ever played on the radio. The DJ edit for "Who's Zoomin' Who" appears on the new compilation Knew You Were Waiting: The Best Of Aretha Franklin 1980-1998 on Arista/Legacy. I bought a cd compilation a few years ago called Soul-Like Sister & Brother put out on the Stardust label and it looks like it was distributed by BMG UK. This included the Dj radio edit of Aretha Franklin's "Who's Zoomin' Who". This clocks in at 4:05. It was excellent cd quality of this song.
