Check out Randy Price's web site, which lists every Cash Box chart week by week from 1950 till the magazine's demise. The song peaked at #7 in Cash Box on April 2, 1955. It was also top ten in Billboard, which did not combine artists as Cash Box did, that same week.

http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/randypny/cashbox/19550402.html

(There's a big omission in Whitburn's "Pop Memories," too -- Dennis Day's "Christmas in Killarney," which was a #10 pop hit in 1950. I seem to recall there are several Dennis Day hits missing from his section in "Pop Memories." Ah, typos.)

It's not even listed in the title section in the back. It's available on at least two CDs -- the "Dirty Shame" soundtrack, and Good Music Company's "Songs of Faith and Inspiration."
