During the intro about 3.5 seconds in, the 45 mix has an audible sound effect, sort of a whooshing rocket blast effect, as the snare drum kicks in. This effect is not present on the LP mix.

Could someone indicate if their CD contains the 45 mix in a longer version? It would be nice to get this mix on CD.

The drums have a slightly different sound and overall the mix is punchier.

One audible element on the 45 remix is a prominent, repetitive high hat sound in the left channel throughout (particularly audible on the first chorus). This percussion effect is either mixed lower or not audible on the LP version.
