In fact, Whitburn recognizes the cassette single as being the standard commercial single configuration for all song titles from 1990-1997, unless otherwise indicated. For songs from 1990 to the present, Whitburn does not use the vinyl 45 as the source of his information, but he does use a "(v)" symbol just to show vinyl 45 availability.

Based on the research I've conducted so far, it appears only Michael Bolton, and not Kenny G, is credited on commercial vinyl 45 copies of "Missing You Now". Not sure if this means the 45 is a different version (I doubt it).

The vinyl 45 states a time of 4:33 but actually runs 4:31. All cd appearances that run 4:24 are simply an early fade of the cd version which runs 4:33.

Now, Whitburn lists this 45 as being released by Michael Bolton featuring Kenny G. My commercial 45 makes no mention of Kenny G but the cd "Time, Love & Tenderness" does credit Kenny G. So my new question is, does anyone have a vinyl 45 with Kenny G credited?
