Sonofagun, you're right! Evidently, the Rhino/Warner label reissued Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band's "Love Land" as a digital single with "Sorry Charlie" as the B-side, and it sounds like it's from a clean tape source. Thank you so much, John!

realize this may have been a European release. Guess that

I just compared the stereo version to the mono, and it's quite different. Aside from the opening cymbal that Ed mentioned, there are a couple other notable differences:

- tambourine starts at the very beginning of the stereo version, but it doesn't come in until 0:37 of the mono
- there is lots of added reverb to the vocals and horns of the stereo version

Perhaps it's just because I'm used to hearing the mono, but I think the stereo version is weak. That mono version on the Rhino box set is the only mono listing in the database. Wonder if the stereo and mono differ?
