Evidently, the Rhino/Warner label reissued Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band's "Love Land" as a digital single with "Sorry Charlie" as the B-side, and it sounds like it's from a clean tape source.  Thank you so much, John!<br /><br />Man, I wonder if there's some way to do a search on Qobuz to pull up other Rhino/Warner digital singles in the record label's catalog?]]>

Aside from the opening cymbal that Ed mentioned, there are a couple other notable differences:<br /><br />- tambourine starts at the very beginning of the stereo version, but it doesn't come in until 0:37 of the mono<br />- there is lots of added reverb to the vocals and horns of the stereo version<br /><br />Perhaps it's just because I'm used to hearing the mono, but I think the stereo version is weak.  The mix is too wide and lacks punch.]]>

Wonder if the stereo and mono differ?  The version on the Rhino Soul Hits of the 70s, Vol. 3 that Ed mentioned is stereo. ]]>
