After my first post it occured to me that I should have dug up my All That Jazz CD to check the liner notes. Thanks for your input Andrew!

The USA album version was also "mixed by Chris Porter". Sounds like the same version to me.

It is possible that the word "remixed" on the 45 could be in reference to a difference in the UK original mix, but I'm not sure what the UK issue sounded like.

The double A-side promo 45 (AM-2991) notes "Remixed by Chris Porter" on the labels. I can't detect any difference between the promo and the album version and the database doesn't make any distinctions either.
