The commercial 45 ends at 2:57 with "...thy will be done"
while the promo 45 extends a tiny bit further with "...on
earth as it is in."

It has not been released on CD in its full 2:57 fade - the song has a long,
drawn out fade, which is perhaps why Rhino dumped it early on "Have A Nice
Day"?

Anyway, our own Mark Matthews tacked on the 45 ending to the HAND

Interesting Pat's database has a run time of 2:57. Anyone on this board know of anywhere digitally that the song has been released? It made one CD in all this time, incredible!

Are the missing seconds a longer fade. Ten years later...

For what it's worth, Discogs lists an album called The Lord's Prayer as being released in the US in 1974. It's listed as A&M Records catalog number SP 3639. It gives a printed time of 2:42 for the song "The Lord's Prayer". Thanks for that informative bit of info, Jim. I can't find anything about a U.S. release of the Sister Janet Mead With You I Am LP either. Todd, Sister Janet Mead was from Australia. She recorded the song for the Festival Records label there. A&M had an option to release Festival product in the U.S., and issued the 45. An album, called "With You I Am", featuring "The Lord's Prayer", was issued in her home country. It does not appear to me, based on my current resources, that this album was released in the U.S., however.
