Re-read Pat's post...the no-suffix copies are the ones
with the handclaps.
I have both versions, my "no handclaps" copy has a -1B
suffix on it. Are there 3 mixes of this song?

So "1A" - without hand claps - is the revised issue? I've always thought it was the other way around, that the hand claps were added to "improve" the song.

Pat, you do a tremendous job in both explaining and notating the two different 45 mixes for this song, and I already have both mixes on CD. However, I also want to pick up both versions on an original 45. Both of my existing copies show deadwax info of simply "5971".
