(Timing info compliments of abagon.  The printed record label time is 4:06.)  The only reason I post this is because CD entries of this song in the database (with the exception of the 12" version appearances) run 4:01-4:06.]]>

The backing track and instrumentation are the same, but many of the samples are different.<br /><br />For starters, the female "Yo all you home boys out in the bronx this one's for you" that begins the US version is now a Wolfman Jack saying "That's right this has got to be the greatest record of the year" on the UK version.<br /><br />The Eric B and Rakim sample "pump up the volume" is the same in both, as is "brothers and sisters".<br /><br />"Do it" is rerecorded for either the US or UK version - not sure which one.  Same with "yeah yeah".  There's a James Brown "watch me" in the UK version.  <br /><br />And so forth - if you know the US version well, you'll immediately recognize what's different in the UK version.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A fascinating listen.]]>
