I still haven't found a lossless clean version of this. You can't recreate it by using the Explicit and editing God Damn each time because the line "The poor grooms bride is a whore" has a Shhhh in it in the clean radio edit where whore is.

Great song, just annoying there isn't a lossless radio version of this to be found.

Not to get religious on a non-religious board, but to use GD is
considered by religious people to be using God’s name in vain, which is
a very bad thing. It has nothing to do with the “radio gods” nor invoking

When we train new radio folks, we train them not to say "God damn" on the air.

"God" by itself is fine. "Damn" by itself is fine.

But "God damn" seems to imply that's you're invoking the power of the almighty to damn someone or something. Apparently, the radio Gods think that's a bad thing.

Pretty common here in Oklahoma. I had never heard
Eagles' "Life In The Fast Lane" censored on the radio
until I moved here. Odd because the whole song is still
about drugs and sex but after the edit, thank goodness
